The Hyperbaric and Wound Healing Center offers state-of-the-art care for acute and chronic wounds and is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including physicians credentialed in hyperbaric medicine and wound care, registered nurses and certified hyperbaric technicians. OxyHeal is responsible for operating the Center, providing hyperbaric and wound care equipment, as well as staffing the facility under the hyperbaric medical leadership of Dr. Mailman. OxyHeal delivered two fully equipped multiplace OxyHeal 2000-3 chamber systems. These multiplace chambers have a capacity for treating three patients and supporting one attendant. They are capable of treatments to pressures of 30 feet. The environment within the chamber is compressed air, which has two to three times more pressure than air at sea level. While inside the chambers, patients breathe 100 percent oxygen via a treatment hood. A physician or qualified assistant closely monitor patients at all times.
