Six (6) emergency medicine attending physicians qualified in Hyperbaric Medicine, one full-time Hyperbaric fellow, critical care nurses, and Certified Hyperbaric Technologists staff the Hyperbaric Center. The Hyperbaric equipment is a state-of-the-art multi-patient 6 ATA class A chamber with a capacity of twelve (12) patient breathing stations plus up to two (2) Hyperbaric Attendants inside with the patients. The facility has critical care capacity capable of treating neonatal and ventilated ICU patients.

The University of California San Diego Medical Center located in the Hillcrest area of San Diego is a 391-bed acute care hospital with Level 1 Trauma Services. It is home to San Diego Countys regional Burn Center, Poison Center, and Hyperbaric Center, all of which provide 24-hour per day services.

Wound Center
UCSD has a Wound Care Center that is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am-4:30 pm. The Wound Care Center provides the full spectrum of wound healing services for problem wounds, including those of vascular insufficiency.
