La Jolla, California -- OxyHeal Health Group® (OxyHeal®) announced today that one of its group companies has been awarded a contract through its representative in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Al JEEL Medical Company (al JEEL). The contract includes the design, manufacture, and installation of a rectangular multiplace hyperbaric chamber system at The Autism Research and Treatment center (ART Center) the King Khaled University Hospital, at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. King Khaled University Hospital is associated with King Saud University, the oldest and most prestigious university in Riyadh. Under this contract, training of the hospital staff will be accomplished through OxyHeal’s premier educational entity, the OxyHeal® University, Inc. All technical and manufacturing work on this project will be contracted to OxyHeal® Medical Systems, Inc. (OMS), a member company of the OxyHeal Health Group®. Al JEEL will provide facility modification and construction, on-site installation support, after-sales technical support, and other direct services to the hospital. The OxyHeal® 5000 is capable of performing simultaneous treatments on up to eight (8) subjects at pressures up to six atmospheres absolute (6-ATA). In particular the system is suited for the treatment of decompression diving emergencies (e.g. commercial, professional, and SCUBA divers) in addition to its potential use to perform hyperbaric and diving research. The main compartment features two large 30-inch (76cm) diameter viewports and an over-sized 48-inch (1.2 meter) wide patient walk-in door that can easily accommodate gurney bound patients. In addition, the chamber will feature OxyHeal®’s Aquatic Series Wall Mural™ (Series No. 2) which presents a pleasing chamber exterior which helps the chamber system blend into the clinical environment. This unique space-age chamber finishing system, pioneered by OxyHeal®, combines with the chamber’s rectangular configuration with stunning aquatic visual images. This enhances comfort and improves compliance by providing a familiar and comforting environment to the patient and brings the provision of hyperbaric medicine treatments into the 21st century. “I am very pleased to announce the news that OxyHeal® has been selected to provide our OxyHeal® 5000 Series rectangular multiplace hyperbaric chamber system to the King Khaled University Hospital,” said W.
