Technical Director

Position Title: Technical Director

Position Summary: Supervises daily hyperbaric treatment operations with emphasis on patient and employee safety.

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for all aspects of daily operations.
2. Responsible for ensuring the facility startup and shutdown checklists are followed and completed.
3. Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing for patient treatments.
4. Responsible for ensuring all items taken into the chamber are intrinsically safe and meet NFP A guidelines.
5. Responsible for ensuring that the chamber operators are following the appropriate treatment tables and operating in a safe manner.
6. Responsible for following, reviewing, revising and conducting maintenance in accordance with the Maintenance Plan.
7. Assists the Program Director in data analysis in support of the Quality Assurance /Performance Improvement Program.
8. Prepares the Monthly Facility Report.
9. Responsible for ensuring that the daily charges are entered correctly and reviewed prior to final turn in.
10. Works with the facilities engineering department in regards to hyperbaric safety.
11. Responsible for training new staff members.
12. Serve as chamber operator or inside observer as needed.

Minimum Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist.

Skills: Certified Hyperbaric Technologist. Must possess a strong working knowledge of hyperbaric systems and subsystems. Should possess working knowledge in Microsoft™ Office software and strong computer skills. Should attend the Hyperbaric Safety Director basic and advanced courses.

Supervision Received: Directly supervised by the Program Director.

Supervision Given: Directly supervises OxyHeal Health Group®, Inc. personnel in the daily performance of their jobs.

Responsibility for Confidentiality: Responsible for ensuring that all OxyHeal Health Group®, Inc. employees maintain patient, employee and proprietary confidentiality.

Responsibility for Accuracy: Reports, documentation and records must be maintained as accurately as possible.

Pressure Factor: Must be able to work under varying degrees of stress.

Contact with Others: Interfaces personally and telephonically with hospital staff, employees and OxyHeal Health Group®, Inc. management.

Working Conditions: Must be able to work in confined and uncomfortable spaces for short periods of time. Hours are dependent upon patient load. Must be able to perform the functions of the on-call technician.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass a dive physical. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. to waist level. Must be able to assist in lifting patients of varying weights onto and off of a gurney.
