OxyHeal Health Group® Announces Hyperbaric Oxygen Applied Late after Mild to Moderate Traumatic Brain Injury: A Prospective Multi-center Double-blind Randomized Controlled Trial.

 
       
La Jolla, California, 24 November 2009 — OxyHeal Health Group® (OxyHeal®) announced today that it has been awarded a contract for the lease and operation of hyperbaric oxygenation chambers for the DoD Centers of Excellence (DCoE) for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The title of this trial is: "Hyperbaric Oxygen Applied Late after Mild to Moderate Traumatic Brain Injury: A Prospective Multi-center Double-blind Randomized Controlled Trial."

Under the terms of this contract, OxyHeal® will fabricate multiplace hyperbaric chamber systems and install them in mobile trailers for further delivery to four (4) military installations within the continental United States where these studies will take place. In addition to building and leasing the equipment, OxyHeal® will provide a staff of Certified Hyperbaric Technologists (CHTs) responsible for orchestrating hyperbaric chamber compression schedules; overall safety of hyperbaric chamber operations and equipment safety; quality assurance; and maintenance. OxyHeal is also contracted to provide two (2) support buildings at each of these locations.
