Hyperbaric Training for Healthcare Professionals:
Course Description:
The Hyperbaric Training for Healthcare Professionals course
is designed to meet the requirements of an American College of Hyperbaric Medicine (ACHM) designated introductory course in hyperbaric medicine and will introduce to physicians, registered nurses, technicians, and other allied healthcare professionals the clinical indications, documentation, and operational requirements of a Clinical Hyperbaric Medicine Facility. ACHM maximum of 40 AMA PRA Category 1™ credits. NBDHMT 40 Category A Credits.
Course Objective:
The primary objective of this course is to convey to the student the history of diving and hyperbaric medicine, principles of physics, physiology, pathophysiology, and medical aspects of compressing patients and attendants within a hyperbaric environment.
Wound Care Boot Camp:
Course Description:
Wound Care Boot Camp is intended to provide a strong foundation in the basic tenets of wound care, including physiology, assessment and classification. An introduction to the etiology, diagnosis and management algorithms of the major wound care types is provided. While the content of the course is focussed at an introductory level and designed for novice wound care providers, it is also an excellent review for the experienced wound care professional. Aurora Health Care designates this enduring material for a maximum of 23.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Target Audience:
This course is designed for physicians, fellows, mid-level practitioners, nurses, and other allied health professionals who are involved in the care of patients with acute and chronic wounds. This course is appropriate for both entry level novice practitioners as well as for experienced clinicians who want to review basic wound care concepts and best practice standards. Additionally, this course is intended to meet the educational needs of professionals who see wound care patients in a variety of care settings including: hospital based clinic, outpatient clinic, office based practice, inpatient service, home care, urgent care clinic, or emergency department.

Debridement Training: Principles & Practice:
Course Description:
This course offers practicing physicians, mid-level practitioners, nurses and other allied health professionals a comprehensive course in the art and science of wound debridement. Students will be introduced to traditional methods as well as cutting edge sharp debridement technologies. View the didactic lectures, and then accomplish the hands-on practicum in a live conference or clinical setting.

Hyperbaric Facility Safety Director Course:
Course Description:
The Hyperbaric Facility Safety Director course is designed to meet the National Fire Protection Association 99, Healthcare Facilities, Chapter 20, Hyperbaric Facilities recommendations for the appointment of the Safety Director. This technically oriented course examines every aspect of hyperbaric facility safety and Hyperbaric Risk Management. Certification and appointment of the Safety Director is the responsibility of the facility. Successful completion of this course does not constitute certification in hyperbaric medicine safety.
Course Objective:
The primary objective of this course is to prepare the student for the role of Safety Director. Upon successful completion of this course, the student should gain the knowledge necessary to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the Hyperbaric Facility Safety Director.
Ultimate Introductory Course on Hyperbaric Medicine (online training):

Course Description:
This course was designed to provide certification for wound care sales professionals who desire to achieve PWRC status. This activity is not approved for Continuing Educational Credit for medical professionals. Medical Professionals should refer to Wound Care Boot Camp listed above.
The Professional Wound Representative Certification Course (PWRC) is intended to provide a strong foundation in the basic elements of wound care, including physiology, assessment and classification. An introduction to the etiology, diagnosis and management algorithms of the major wound care types is provided. Emphasis is placed on management algorithms and clinical decision making. This course is appropriate for entry level as well as experienced wound care sales representatives as it provides an excellent review of the fundamentals of basic wound care management. Successful completion of this course grants students the designation of Professional Wound Representative Certification (PWRC). This distinguishes the certificate holder as having demonstrated knowledge and an academic mastery in the basic tenets of wound care.
